“I am not judged by the number of times I fail, but by the number of times I succeed: and the number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I fail and keep trying.”
—Tom Hopkins.
For some Youths out there, the Year 2021 is still new. For some others, January 2021 had a long delay before pulling to an end. On the other hand, some Youths who made some resolutions and had some plans mapped out, for the year 2021, are already actualizing them or working towards their actualization. To which group do you belong? “To thine own self be true”, asserts Polonius (Shakespearean book – Hamlet)
The glaring reality is that the year 2021 has lost 31 solid days that can never come back again, till the end of life. If you still see the year as being new, then, you may be surprised to wake up at the middle of the year. The year 2021 is no more new and every day counts!
Beloved Compatriot, do not continue to procrastinate and putting aside, for tomorrow, what you can do today. “Procrastination, they say, is the thief of time.” According to Benjamin Franklin, “You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again.” The Latin dictum explains it very well; “tempus fugit non regamus est” – time flies and can’t be regained.
I urge you to stop putting off those wonderful ideas for tomorrow; start working towards their actualization from today. There is never a perfect time for anything, the time is NOW. “If you put off everything till you’re sure of it, you’ll never get anything done”, opines Norman Vincent Peale. If you wait until the wind and the weather are just right, you will never plant anything and never harvest anything.
Do not be afraid of making mistakes as mistakes are good proofs that you tried your best. Keep pushing; when you fail, brace up and keep striving until success is gained. The joy of success lies in realizing how resilient you were when you were striving. There is never a success story that is devoid of mistakes and failures! Be assured that, for a determined mind, nothing is impossible!
We thank the Almighty God for the month of January come & gone, and for the gift of a brand new month of February.
May it be a month of thanksgivings and testimonies. May our frantic efforts never be in vain. May God strengthen us to rise when we fall and give us the courage to keep pushing forward when we fail, until success is achieved.
#Be Optimistic & Kind! #Be undaunted & Resilient! #Be Joyful & Grateful! #Be Safe & take Precautions! #Happy New Month of Love!
